Why do I need to provide my regulatory body membership number?

Future Surgery, Acute & General Medicine and Anaesthesia & Critical Care is for registered healthcare professionals, those who work in in the NHS or private setting, and other relevant decision-makers only, in order to comply with the ABPI Code of Practice.

We can ask for your membership number to help us verify that you are a registered healthcare professional. If you do not provide this, your registration may be rejected.

These steps ensure that we comply to the ABPI Code of Practice, which covers the promotion of medicines for prescribing to both registered healthcare professionals and other relevant decision makers.

I am on the waiting list for a pass, what happens now?

If you have received an email telling you that you are on the waiting list, your pass is not confirmed. We will contact you via the email address you used to register to confirm your pass should one become available.

Future Surgery brings together the entire perioperative team to explore the future of surgery, and we are dedicated to bringing together professionals from all roles within the community to collaborate. Please be reminded that because complimentary passes are limited, there is a set maximum capacity of attendance for each role in the perioperative team. This is to ensure that every role is represented and that we can accommodate as many attendees as possible. As such, we may have already reached the maximum number of registrations for your role which is why you are on the waiting list. We will contact you if a pass becomes available.

If you find you can no longer attend on either 1 or 2 October, no problem! Please inform us by emailing futuresurgeryshow@closerstillmedia.com so we can remove you from the waiting list.

Why has my pass been rejected?

Future Surgery brings together the entire perioperative team to explore the future of surgery, and we are dedicated to bringing together professionals from all roles within the community to collaborate.

As complimentary passes for the event are limited, there is a set maximum capacity of attendance for each role in the perioperative team. This is to ensure that every role is represented and that we can accommodate as many attendees as possible. Passes are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your pass. If we have already reached the maximum number of registrations for your role, you will be added to a waiting list and we will contact you if a pass becomes available.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
