o Dr. Vivianda Menke, Evangelisches Krankenhaus Wesel (EVK), Germany, studied both medizin and medical biology in the Netherlands. She gained her PhD on Reflux Esophagitis, Barrett Esophagus and Esophageal Cancer, starting in 2004. She has numerous publications and presented at several conferences for example in Oxford and Digestive Disease Week in the USA. She has been working in Germany since 2009 and is the head of the self-founded reflux-center in 2016 at the EVK Wesel, where she performs Gastroscopy, pH Metrie and esophageal Manometry in 250 patients per year. These lead to 150 fundoplicatio per year. Dr. Menke has a great interest in MIS robotic surgery and has performed over 300 robotic assisted cases.
