I am a consultant colorectal surgeon. I trained flexibly while having my three children and I became Chair of Women in Surgery Forum at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2021 having served on the committee as a flexible trainee in 2008. I have recently been involved in reporting on the prevalence of sexual misconduct in surgery as Co-Lead of the Working Party on Sexual Misconduct in Surgery (wpsms.org)
