Sas Banerjee has been a consultant colorectal surgeon in North-East London (NEL) since 2011 and currently is the Regional Endoscopy Clinical Director with NHSE. With the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he is an examiner for MRCS & also the Regional Director for NEL. He has been a key stakeholder for the development of an elective hub at his local Trust which has been described as an exemplar at the Health Select Committee in Parliament. He is the Clinical Lead for Endoscopy, RDC and the Co-Lead for Gastroenterology at the Trust which has operational and strategic responsibilities.
