Sam is a Consultant Laparoscopic and robotic Colorectal Surgeon with 12 years of NHS consultant experience and a special interest in IBD and Low Rectal Cancer Management. In his current role, Sam is responsible for managing general and colorectal surgery patients across 6 hospitals in the Leicestershire region. He is a member of the East Midlands Cancer Advisory Group, the RCSE Board of Examiners and a clinical tutor in the University of Leicester. Sam has been involved in the delivery of insourcing contracts for the past year as part of the UHL and NHSE elective care recovery plan.
