Sally qualified as a nurse in Sheffield in 1992. With an interest in perioperative care, she spent the early part of her career working in perioperative care, gaining experience in multiple specialties. In 2003, she was appointed as a SCP in General Surgery. Her main interest was developing laparoscopic colorectal surgery. With a keen interest in teaching, learning and assessment, became a senior lecturer for the SCP programme at EHU in 2019, in 2021 became the programme’s lead. She assisted the development of the new bi-collegiate curriculum framework for SCP. Research interests include the use of technology for learning and improving student experience.
