Rui is a General Surgery Registrar based in the Severn Deanery. He graduated from Imperial College London and completed his initial training in London before moving to the South West. He has a strong background in education and learning, recognised by the Academy of Medical Educators through an MAcadMEd, and he previously sat on the Moynihan Academy Council before joining ASIT as Regional Rep.
