Rosie Stanton is a consultant breast cancer surgeon at HHFT. She completed her oncoplastic fellowship in Nottingham. She has a passion for breast conservation surgery and an interest in the benefits of day case surgery for breast cancer patients. Her team have expanded the use of day case surgery in oncoplastics, to around 96% of all cases. Rosie has performed qualitative research looking at patient satisfaction with day case stays. She has a practise which moves breast cancer surgery from big operations with whole breast reconstruction and revisional surgery, to one shot oncoplastic day cases with very occasional revisions or delayed reconstructions.
