Rachel is a consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. She focuses on furthering perioperative research in orthopaedic surgery, identifying areas for improvement and understanding how to get the best outcomes for patients. She is orthopaedic lead for the Perioperative Quality Improvement Programme and is undertaking a PhD examining quality of life outcomes and perioperative processes in revision hip surgery.
