Jiahong Dong, M.D., Ph.D., FACS, is Chair Professor and Dean of Tsinghua University School of Clinical Medicine and President of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital. An Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, he pioneered the concept of "Precision Surgery" and its applications across multiple specialties. His work in hepatobiliary surgery, particularly in liver transplantation and the treatment of complex biliary diseases, has led to groundbreaking advancements. He has published over 170 SCI papers and holds numerous prestigious positions, including Honorary Fellow of the American Surgical Association and the European Surgical Association.
