Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Bo Mobility
Oscar Morgan is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Bo, a company formed in 2019 with the vision to transform urban mobility to a future defined by exceptional, lightweight, zero-emissions vehicles. As well as guiding the company’s strategy to become the leader in the premium e-scooter segment, he uses his innate talent for engineering and design to ensure that the purity of each concept is protected throughout the entire product development process. Morgan’s experience enables him to ensure that Bo’s engineering and design divisions maintain a symbiotic relationship at every stage to deliver the best possible products for the customer. Born in 1991 in London, England, Morgan studied Automotive and Transport Design at Coventry University and graduated with a 1st Class Master’s degree in Future Transport Design. His career began at Williams Advanced Engineering, as a future transport designer. During his time with the firm he worked on a range of concept design and engineering projects. The focus was applying technology from parent company Williams F1’s hybrid electric powertrain to other applications including e-bikes, electric cars, motorsport and aerospace, to improve performance and efficiency. Following Williams, he co-founded Bo, and at the same time as establishing and growing the company also served as Head of Design Strategy for Pure Electric from 2020 to 2021. There he supported the development of category leading products such as the Pure Air and Pure Advance e-scooter ranges. Morgan’s motivation is for the Bo rider to look forward to every single journey. He is working to create innovative, class-leading products which customers find delightful and want to use every day.
