Matt is a General Surgery registrar in the Mersey region. He is a member of the ASiT council as Mersey representative and trainee representative for the British Association of Day Surgery. His passion for innovation and surgical technology is supported by his role as Chair of RCS England Robotic and Digital Surgery trainees working group. Additionally, Matt holds other national roles including Junior Trainee Lead for the Roux Group and Speciality representative for The Surgical Academy. Matt is currently studying an MSc in Surgical Innovation at Imperial College where he is particularly interested in robotics and technology-enhanced surgical training.
