Mark is the Managing Director at C2-Ai, a leading clinical analytics software company headquartered in Cambridge, UK. C2 Ai provides globally unique Ai-backed systems that support hospitals accurately identify and reduce avoidable harm, mortality, and clinical variation, while generating significant savings on operating expenditure. More recently C2-AI have been supporting NHS Trusts and ICSs with risk stratification of the elective surgical waiting list, supporting reduction in waiting times, prehabilitation and capacity planning. Along-side his corporate responsibilities, Mark is a practicing paediatrician and intensivist. Mark has spent over three decades working in the NHS and international healthcare services as a clinician, executive manager, advisor and investor. He has been instrumental in developing quality improvement strategies and research publications with clinical teams across the C2 Ai portfolio of NHS and private hospital clients. He is on the Medical Advisory Board of an international healthcare company providing focus on quality improvement, patient safety and ethics. Mark’s medical training was at Oxford and London Universities and he holds a MBA from London Business School. Mark worked previously as a flying Doctor in Australia and New Zealand and has worked clinically in a number healthcare systems across the World. He holds membership of both the Royal Colleges of Medicine and Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK, and balances his clinical commitments with his executive role at C2 Ai.
