Marimo is a medical student at UCL with an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Surgical Sciences. She is fascinated by the intersection of medicine and technology, particularly in the use of implantable medical devices and surgical robots in Neurosurgery. Marimo has a wealth of expertise in surgical innovation research; notably, she played an instrumental role in the development of a novel actuation device for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence with EmPower, University of Bristol. More recently she has pioneered the groundworks for the implementation of 3D printing for planning complex craniofacial reconstruction at the Charles Wolfson Centre, Royal Free Hospital.
