Speakers

Louise is a paediatric cardiothoracic surgeon trained in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. She has a particular clinical and research interest in organ preservation to maximise donor potential. Her current work is looking at hypothermic preservation to allow reanimation of the arrested donor heart in DCD, and extended ischemic times in DBD. Her additional academic work is related to ethics of DCD, heart-lung combined transplantation, and ACHD cardiac transplantation.
