Mr Rankin is an Academic Orthopaedic Sarcoma Surgeon. He has developed an international reputation for fluorescence guided surgery (FGS) for tumour margin identification and is chief investigator for the NIHR EME funded SarcoSIGHT randomised controlled trial comparing FGS versus standard of care.
