Katie Adams is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Lead for Gastrointestinal Surgery at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital in London. After training in London she was awarded the FRCS Gold Medal and undertook a fellowship in Sydney, Australia. She has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Colorectal Surgery. She is the Chair of the External Affairs Committee for ACPGBI. She is a specialist in inflammatory bowel disease surgery, including robotic surgery and complex fistula surgery. She has presented nationally and internationally on the field of colorectal disease and the emerging field of robotic surgery adoption in inflammatory bowel disease.
