Hi I'm Kala, I'm an ENT Specialty Registrar in the Yorkshire Deanery. I'm an IMG from Hyderabad, India. After completing my bachelor's degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 2017, I completed the PLAB exam and moved to the UK to pursue a career in surgery. I have since trained in the north of England, Essex, Wessex and in the East of England. In addition to all things related to ENT, I have a keen interest in medical education and trainee support initiatives. I currently hold the post of ASIT rep for Association of Otolaryngologists in Training (AOT) in the UK and Co-Secretary to Women in ENT Surgery (WENTS UK).
