Frank is a consultant colorectal surgeon at the Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust, Deputy Clinical Director for the Southwest Genomics Medicine Service, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Exeter. He is the RCS England representative to the AoMRC Genomics Professionals Partnership Group and genomics lead for the RCS Future of Surgery committee. Following his MD in University College Dublin, he was appointed as a trainee champion for the 100,000-genome project and completed a masters in genomic medicine. He is chief investigator for an epigenetic study on diverticulitis ‘Explodes’ and transformation lead for the Southwest Lynch Syndrome Project.
