
Fahima Begum

Ms Fahima Begum is a trauma and orthopaedic registrar on the London RNOH rotation. She graduated from King’s College London School of Medicine and went on to complete her Foundation training within the South London rotation. She became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2017. In 2019, she gained a visiting fellowship to Rush University Medical Centre, Chicago, specialising in arthroplasty. Her research interests include periprosthetic joint infections, sports injuries and robotic hip and knee surgery. She has published numerous papers on these topics and has presented her research internationally. She is a keen tutor and routinely participates in teaching at recognized courses including Advanced Trauma Life Support. She also runs a yearly dry bone workshop for future ST3 candidates.
