Emma Tindall is a highly experienced Surgical Care Practitioner with a background in the military as an Operating Department Practitioner. She began her career in the NHS in 2006 and quickly rose to the position of Surgical Care Practitioner in 2010. Emma completed her PgDip SCP and MSc advanced clinical practice at Teesside University, specializing in upper limb surgery. Emma's role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including clinics, theatre work, audit, research, and teaching. She has developed a particular expertise in shoulders and is highly regarded in this field. Emma is an active member of the Association of Surgical Care Practitioners committee and is also involved in NHS England T&F groups for MAPs and SCP career frameworks. She has played a key role in creating a local SCP career pathway, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing the profession.
