Dr Brown is the Portsmouth Severe Asthma Service and Respiratory Research Department lead. He holds an Honorary Readership at the University of Portsmouth and is the Deputy Programme Director for King’s College London MBBS in partnership with the University of Portsmouth. His PhD in asthma described the Wessex Severe Asthma Cohort which is one of the largest highly characterised severe asthma cohorts in Europe. Dr Brown was also the National Clinical Lead for NHSE FeNO Programme 2021-23 and deputy training programme Director for Respiratory Medicine in Wessex
