Dr Boutelle graduated from King’s College London medical school and intercalated in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London.
Their interest in biomechanics, limb prosthetics and surgical integration has led them to; an elective in major trauma at St Mary’s Hospital London, work as the Cambridge lead for The Clinician Engineer hub, an international organisation looking to facilitate innovative engagement between engineers, doctors and start-ups, and applying for Core Surgical Training with a goal of specialising in plastic surgery.
They won second prize at the ASIT x PLASTA Surgical Innovation Hackathon with the team Scopes.
