Mr Gyorgy Lovasz graduated as a Medical Doctor at the University of Pécs in Hungary and finished training in orthopaedic surgery in 1991. He has worked as a consultant surgeon in various academic positions at the Department of Orthopaedics of the University of Pécs and spent 2 years on a fellowship at Orthopaedic Hospital, Los Angeles. Later, he was a consultant orthopaedic-trauma surgeon in Al Ain, UAE for 3 years. Mr Lovasz has performed more than 4000 surgical procedures in the UK including hip and knee replacements, knee revisions, knee arthroscopies, hand and foot surgeries. His main field of interest is lower limb arthroplasty.
