Claire joined the General Medical Council as Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) in 2018 and has led the GMC’s ED&I strategic direction for the last 4 years, strengthening the organisations approach to ED&I across all of the GMC’s regulatory functions. Claire is currently supporting the implementation of a programme of accelerated activity to achieve the GMC’s aspirations and targets on ED&I as both a regulator and employer.
