Edinburgh graduate, whose international training exposed him to multiple educational and healthcare delivery systems, before returning to UK. Subsequent career embraced service, education and leadership roles, most recently as RCSEd Council Member. As a "rewired" plastic, reconstructive & aesthetic surgeon he has been a people developer his whole career. Trained as a Mentor, Coach, Appraiser and Facilitator: he remains Fellow's Representative on Advisory Board, Faculty of Surgical Trainers, key instigator within RCSEd's Surgical Services Team Development programs and champion for development of RCSEd's Mentorship Scheme. He is a Sensei for the Black Belt Academy of Surgical Skills (BBASS).
