Carrie has been an Oral and Maxillofacial Consultant since 2003. She represents OMFS in skin cancer research at the NCRI and has co-authored multiple national skin cancer guidelines. Carrie was honoured to be voted the 2020 BAOMS Trainers’ Trainer of the Year and is an elected member of BAOMS Council. Carrie has been a JCIE FRCS examiner since 2008 and chaired the Section 1 examination for all 10 specialities. She is the immediate past-Chair of the OMFS Examination Board. Carrie is currently on NHS sabbatical and is working with WinS, co-leading the Working Party on Sexual Misconduct in Surgery, www.wpsms.org.uk
