Cait studied medicine at Norwich Medical School, before moving to the Severn deanery for foundation training. She subsequently completed a teaching fellow year at Torbay Hospital during which she completed a PGCert in clinical education. Cait started her CT training in surgery at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in August 2021. Current career aspirations are focused on urology, with an interest in clinical education and better representation of surgical careers at a medical school level. Cait is the Peninsula representative for ASiT, and the CST representative for the WinS Forum
