Alice has chaired the RCSEd Anti-bullying campaign since its inception in 2016. She is keen to promote better workplace behaviour because of the impact it has on patient safety. Alice and the team have created a set of resources and run a series of meetings to help organisations manage this, including a course on conflict resolution. She has also previously co-chaired the NHS anti-bullying alliance which enabled organisations to pool resources to tackle bullying within the NHS. Alice was awarded an MBE in the 2024 King’s New Year’s Honours list for her work in this field.
She is a Consultant Urologist at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Trust specialising in renal and prostate cancer.
