We launched our annual Surgical Education and Simulation virtual conference in 2020, bringing together expert speakers from around with world, with an international audience.

The Society of Surgical Simulation also provides expertise and a mentorship programme to those seeking to set up a simulation centre, and training courses for acquiring technical surgical skills by simulation.

Published on behalf of the Society of Surgical Simulation, Journal of Surgical Simulation is an academic peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing new research and scholarly articles in the fields of surgical simulation, surgical education, patient safety and surgical technologies.

Journal of Surgical Simulation publishes original research articles, reviews and editorials written by those with expertise in utilising and teaching surgery simulation techniques, with the aim of further advancing education and practice in this rapidly evolving field.
