What our 2023 visitors had to say:
"It’s been really good. It’s been good to reach out to smaller companies that are just starting out in this area, whereas some of the bigger, more specialised conferences tend to be dominated by the bigger companies. It’s also been good to catch up with people that are interested in innovation." - Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon
"I’ve just started my consultant practice so I’m interested in teaching and I wanted to look at virtual reality platforms for teaching. But also, I’ve never been before and I just really wanted to see what it was like. It's definitely worth it.” - Consultant Surgeon
"I’m really interested in the hands-on training part. To me, that’s the most exciting part because pretty much all the rest are things that I already know. The training part was nice. I already booked a couple of experiences with Asensus Surgical. It’s the only surgical platform that I didn’t know. It’s very exciting. Even of you are a surgeon or a technician, it’s a good idea to come because here you can find a melting pot in between the two expertise, and that’s great." - MD in General Surgery
"Today is awesome. I have gone to many theatres and seen presentations, and I’ve been looking out for new innovations. So I really like the simulation courses, that’s the main reason I’m here, along with looking for new presentations." - Senior Clinical Fellow
“The future surgery show is a seminar especially designed for operating theatre staff from all disciplines. It provides a platform to allow for key operation, strategic, safety, inspirational and next generation patient care. For me, as both a speaker and participant, the variety, flexible and openness of being able to attend talks, from both clinicians and non-clinicians was a chance to listen to and ask questions on current topics. If you didn't make the show in 2022, I advise that you attend in 2023, not only for (CPD) but a chance to network and share the knowledge we have all gained and continue to gain." - Theatre Lead
"For me, as usual, it is a crucial event for those innovating in the field of surgery. This year especially the spotlight on safe simulation & educational methods has brightened, and the need to utilise this, amongst other methods, to retain our talented staff is higher than ever. It was also very promising to have groundbreaking and frank conversations with ASiT about the changes that need to be implemented in surgical training to ensure that the surgeons of tomorrow are not only competent, but highly motivated and innovative individuals." - Clinical Excellence Lead
