The first stage of the project involved improving the prototype, which initially used smartphone technology for image capture. Following user testing, the second stage led us to rethink the design. We added integrated optics, improved ergonomics, a charging base and more.

The final result: a world-first all-in-one hearing health assessment system that is improving access to hearing healthcare worldwide. Designed to be user friendly and accessible, the Tympa System allows image capture, data entry, hearing screening, diagnosis and microsuction earwax removal to be carried out in a single, portable device.
