Robotic-assisted surgery is rapidly expanding in the UK. This session aims to share the best practices in the development of new robotic surgical services, as well as lessons learnt to achieve successful robotic surgical programmes. We will provide the state-of-the-art in robotic-assisted General Surgery, ENT/transoral surgery and Orthopaedics with a focus on future directions. We will also explore training and educational resources available for the multidisciplinary robotic surgery team.
