Launch of the Green Surgery Report: A guide to how we can mitigate the carbon footprint of surgical practice

14 Nov 2023
Theatre 2

The Green Surgery Report is the first comprehensive synthesis of evidence regarding how surgery impacts the climate crisis. It provides initiatives and recommendations to reduce the adverse impact of surgical care on the environment, while maintaining high quality patient care and potentially saving the NHS money. The report is based upon evidence synthesis and case studies. It also considers barriers and facilitators to implementation.

This session is an opportunity to learn about the key aspects of the report and how you can use it to drive sustainability within your own clinical practice. There will be a panel discussion and Q&A with the team that produced the report.
