This session will explore the journey to trainee SCP to day 1 qualified SCP. This will include how the new bi-collegiate curriculum framework for Surgical Care Practitioners guides how the surgical patient is at the heart of the SCP’s practice with the four pillars of advanced practice linking together to support holistic, high quality, safe and effective care that is focused on the patient’s experience.
